Confidence in Every Fillet

Research from NOFIMA (The Norwegian Institute of Food, Fisheries and Aquaculture Research) shows that consumers typically do not detect bones below Ø0.37 mm × 10 mm in cooked fish.

With Innospexion systems DL440 and SL220, bones down to Ø0.35 mm × 5 mm can be reliably detected, enabling you to consistently deliver products, which your customers experience as truly boneless.

The poultry industry adopted bone detection as a standard long before any legal requirement, because they understood the value: a boneless guarantee keeps the customers loyal

and ensures repeat sales. The same applies to the fish industry. Achieving this level of detection has only recently become possible with Innospexion technology.
